The place was modern and spotless. Location: the hotel was close enough to the centre of town in a secure and quiet location, the best restaurant in town and central Portugal. Dined at Santo Amaro, it was a 10-15 minute walking distance from the venue. The breakfast offered was complimentary and amazing with cheese and pastries...

I recently had a wonderful stay at a beautiful hotel in the center of the village. The location was perfect, allowing me to easily explore the nearby attractions. The service at this place was exceptional, with the manager and staff always going above and beyond to ensure my comfort. They provided valuable information about the area and even helped me with other requests I had. The breakfast here was the highlight of my trip, surpassing all the other hotels I stayed at. The freshly prepared food and attentive staff made it a calm and enjoyable experience. I also noticed a restaurant next door to the hotel, which I didn't try, but the menu looked enticing.
This hotel is a great option for families, and I highly recommend it.

Great breakfast and comfy beds with high-quality sheets. The hotel is located in a rural area, perfect to disconnect. Staff is friendly and willing to help.
The hotel lacks proper soundproofing, which made it hard for me to sleep at night and focus during the day. The strange smells that came from the sewage system were unbearable and unpleasant.

Indulged in the famous Maranho and Bucho Recheado dishes, savored Dona Helena's Fish Soup, and soaked in the breathtaking views. Oh, and let's not forget the rustic charm and tranquility of this 17th century convent turned hotel.
Missing out on the ancient traditions and tiny houses embedded in giant boulders.

Exceptional service and attention to detail
We were lucky enough to stay at the Convento Da Serta Hotel during our honeymoon. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and offered a choice of stunning rooms. The manager, Elsa, went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable stay. She even organized a canoe trip for us to explore the region via the river, which was a highlight of our trip. The hotel's restaurant, Restaurante Ponte Velha, was exceptional and the pool area was simply stunning. The breakfast spread was the best we've had in years, with freshly baked goods prepared by a dedicated baker. The only minor inconvenience was the Wi-Fi not working in our room, but it didn't detract from the overall charm of staying in this historical convent. Despite a few small hiccups, we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this hotel. the exceptional service and attention to detail made our stay at Convento Da Serta Hotel truly special.
